If at any point you cannot put down any more cards, then you must pick up all of the cards from in front of you (including any that were previously taken by other players) and add them to your hand. You can then choose to either take another turn or end your turn and pick up replacement cards from the draw pile (cards are always picked up in sets of five). The replacement cards are added to your hand even if they make you exceed five cards; if this happens, simply disregard any extra cards.

If you place all five of your cards down at once, this is called "going out". You immediately get points for all of the matches shown on your cards - so if you put down 3+2=5 and 4+1=5, you would score 10 points (since there are two matches). In addition, if any unmatched numbers are still showing on your dice when you go out, these are counted as penalty points - so going out with three 1s would give you -3 points! Note that penalty points always count towards your final score even if someone else goes out afterwards.
